We are a Profit First certified Bookkeeping firm offering high-level job costing and CFO level services. While our clients do not have to partake in Profit First, we do like to educate our clients on its methods and the level of success our other clients have had utilizing it.
Our Account Managers are QuickBooks Certified and ProAdvisors and we utilize a wide range of applications in order to provide our clients with the top notch accounting services.
Meet the EOB/B4C Team
Meet Shanna Quinn
With a career spanning over two decades in accounting, Shanna has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of financial management and a drive for entrepreneurial success. She began her journey in 2000, quickly advancing from a receptionist to Office Manager, showcasing her innate ability to excel in the field.
In 2015, Shanna realized her long-held dream of entrepreneurship by founding East Orlando Bookkeeping (EOB). Her expertise soon led her to specialize in the construction industry, prompting the creation of Bookkeeping 4 Contractors (B4C) to more clearly define her niche services. Both EOB and B4C rapidly expanded into a robust full-service bookkeeping firm, necessitating a team of two Account Managers, a Data Entry Specialist, and an Administrator to manage a growing client base and new business opportunities.
Shanna’s latest venture, Bookkeeping 4 Contractors Group (B4CG), further solidifies her commitment to the accounting profession and small business community. B4CG serves as a comprehensive platform, providing mentorship and support to Accounting Professionals (APs) while connecting Small Business Owners (SBOs) with highly skilled and experienced APs. A key focus of B4CG is to train APs specifically on how to serve trades such as home builders, subcontractors, and interior designers, leveraging Shanna’s specialized knowledge in these sectors.
Meet Sara Russell
Account Manager
Sara fell into her bookkeeping career when she decided to try and help her dad get his business bookkeeping in order. She quickly learned that her knack for organization and interest in finance could be combined through bookkeeping.
In 2018, Sara joined East Orlando Bookkeeping as a bookkeeping assistant to Shanna and in 2019 she became an account manager. Sara currently works with all of EOB’s interior design clients and enjoys helping these creative visionaries get financial clarity in their business.
Sara enjoys working from her home in Northern Colorado with her husband and two dogs by her side. When she’s not working, she’s probably thinking about work while enjoying Colorado’s amazing natural beauty!
Meet Annie Dark
Account Manager
Annie has a Master’s degree in Accounting and over 15 years of experience in the accounting industry. She’s worked with businesses from a range of industries including construction, technology, startups and retail. She is a certified QB ProAdvisor and holds many other certifications including Knowify, Bill.com, and Hubdoc.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, supporting her daughter at the Rodeo, hitting the golf course or doing any activity that involves the ocean.
Meet Melissa Doty Data Entry Specialist
With over three years of hands-on experience in accounting and bookkeeping, she has worked closely with small businesses to maintain accurate financial records and support daily financial operations. Experienced in QuickBooks and Excel, she effectively streamlines bookkeeping processes and ensures efficient data management.
Outside the office, she enjoys traveling with her family, spending time at the beach or on the water, savoring a good glass of wine, and cheering on her two children in their sports activities.
Meet Michelle Barrett
Administrative Assistant
With a passion for helping small businesses grow, Michelle has a long history of enthusiastic and proficient administrative skills. She enjoys helping to manage schedules and prioritize speedy customer service and aims to serve EOB / B4C clients with gold star treatment.
